  1. From the corner of your screen, select the Launcher (white round icon).
  2. Swipe up the arrow to reveal the app drawer.
  3. Open Files. Which can be mostly a blue folder icon.
  4. The Files app contains various categories for organized file management. For example, choose where your file is saved.
  • Select Recent for files you’ve recently opened.
  • For an inventory of files by type, select Image, Video, or Audio.
  • For Android app files, select My files > Play files.
  • To show more folders, click on the three vertical dots within the top right, select More, then Show all Play folders.
  • Files will allow you to ascertain files stored in your cloud. For that, select the folder, like Google Drive. You’ll also add another cloud filing system.
  • Once you’ve learned to navigate through the Files. You’ll now find out how to delete files from the Files app.
  • Select the file or folder you would like to delete.
  • Tap on the delete icon.
  • Select DELETE from the resulting pop-up
  • You can delete files within the Downloads folder, but deleting a file from your Downloads folder is permanent.
