Unconfirmed reports suggest that Epic Games’ Fortnite and Mediatonic’s similarly popular Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout may be getting together for a cross-promotional event.
The video games Fortnite by Epic Games and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout by Mediatonic have a few key characteristics in common. Both games feature competitive multiplayer, vibrant colours, and a love of silly clothing and crossover costumes shared in the genre.
Although the gameplay is vastly different, the visual aesthetics appear to be similar enough to easily be combined in a single game or series. That potential may soon be realised, as various Fortnite-themed cosmetics are expected to make their way to Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout very shortly.

Recently, data miners unearthed several files that alluded to the cosmetic crossover, and the leak was shared on Twitter by the account FNLeaksAndInfo. Some of the files were discovered for the first time in February when speculations of a Fortnite/Fall Guys crossover first began to circulate. The developers initially removed the data early this year, but the recent breach reveals that they have subsequently been re-added. Dataminers also discovered other files that contained information about other Fortnite-inspired cosmetics.
Here's some more cosmetics related to Fortnite just added!
Nameplates:
– "Loot Llama"
– "Victory Backboard"
– "Battle Bus"
– "Blueprint"
– "Cuddle Team Leader"
– "Slurp"— Max // Fortnite Leaks & Info (@FNLeaksAndInfo) November 7, 2021
According to the leak, the disclosed cosmetics allow users to dress their Fall Guys in five different Fortnite-inspired outfits. They include skins such as Cuddle Team Leader, Peely, Bunny Brawler, and Ripley, all of which are well-known in the world of Fortnite. In addition, the leak displays five new nameplates with themes such as “Loot Llama,” “Victory Backboard,” “Battle Bus,” “Blueprint,” “Cuddle Team Leader,” and “Slurp,” as well as “Loot Llama” on the back. All of these items are well-known from Epic’s renowned battle royale game, Fortnite.
Of course, players should always proceed with caution when dealing with leaks. On the other hand, the leak suggests that Epic and Mediatonic are more than a little interested in developing a crossover between Fortnite and Fall Guys. This would also not be the first time that the Fall Guys had collaborated with other properties in the past. Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Monkey Ball, Portal, Doom, Nier: Automata, and a slew of more games fall within this category. Halo-themed content is also said to be coming to Fall Guys shortly.
Neither when nor whether the Fortnite crossover will take place are known at this time. Season 5 of Fall Guys, titled “Jungle Adventure,” is presently airing on the network, and Mediatonic may have plans to debut the new skins during the season. Waiting for a significant industry event like EGX in March or using the crossover to bridge the gap between Season 5 and Season 6 are two other options to consider. A third option is that the crossover will take place at the same time when Fall Guys-themed stuff is released in Fortnite.
It should be noted that neither Mediatonic nor Epic Games have made any formal announcements, so all of this is just speculation at this point. Moreover, it is also feasible that the crossover will never take place at all. Developers have already inserted and then erased much of the leaked material previously, so it is probable that it is far too soon to speculate about possible release dates. Nonetheless, the code would not have been included in the crossover was not expected to occur shortly.
